The BlueSCSI V2 PowerBook Edition version brings the BlueSCSI ease-of-setup to a laptop form factor. It connects directly to the internal 40 pin SCSI port of your vintage PowerBook. Other features include an ultra compact design, micro SD card slot and emulates up to 7 separate drives on different SCSI IDs.

BlueSCSI is a budget replacement for your old, failing mechanical SCSI hard drives.

Available fully assembled or as a kit.

  1. Fully assembled: Assembled and tested, ready for use. Write a compatible disk image to an SD card, plug it in and go!
  2. Kit: Includes a pre-flashed Raspberry Pi Pico and everything you need to get up and running (apart from the vintage Macintosh of Course!) Suitable for this with good through-hole soldering skills. Surface-mount micro SD slot has been pre-soldered, so no surface mount soldering skills required.

Please Note: Some PowerBook units will not properly fit the BlueSCSI with the included bracket. Double side tape is recommended for mounting in these situations.

Please Note: The BlueSCSI PowerBook Edition is NOT compatible with PowerBooks using Internal IDE/ATA, such as the 150, 190, 190cs, Duo 2300c/100, 1400 series, 2400 series and 5300 series.
