Description

The ZuluIDE V2 hybrid board has an integrated CD Audio DAC and supports Red Book CD Audio playback/emulation.

In addition to the 44-pin laptop-style IDE connector, the ZuluIDE V2 2.5in hybrid has an available 40-pin desktop IDE footprint.

CD-ROM images are represented by ISO or raw binary .bin/.cue file formats. Rigid hard disk images can be in either raw (.hda/.hdf) or a .vhd Virtual Hard Disk container (version 1)

STLs for a freely-available 3.5″ mounting bracket/drive tray with access holes for microSD USB-C, and the activity LED can be downloaded from Thingiverse

ZuluIDE V2 supports PIO modes 0-3, Ultra DMA 0, 1, and ATA/33, and can deliver up to 28 megabytes/second of throughput.

Known-incompatible systems

Konami System 573 is incompatible with ZuluIDE V1 & V2. Limited testing has been done on other Arcade systems.
