Description
A handy all-in-one adapter for connecting and testing SCSI hardware. Perfect for BlueSCSI users, vintage Mac repairs, drive testing, backups and data recovery.
It provides connections for:
- 50-pin Desktop Internal Male — for connecting internal SCSI devices with a ribbon cable.
- 50-pin Desktop Internal Female — useful for testing internal 50-pin devices.
- Centronics 50 — for external SCSI devices.
- DB25 — for external SCSI connections.
- PowerBook Internal SCSI — for connecting PowerBook SCSI hard drives.
The onboard SCSI activity LEDs provide a visual indication of bus activity, making troubleshooting much easier.
There’s also a floppy power connector, allowing you to power compatible internal SCSI drives outside their original computer — useful for backing up or recovering data from PowerBook drives.
Important: Pay close attention to connector orientation. The Centronics 50 connector, internal SCSI connectors and PowerBook connector must be installed correctly. For PowerBook drives, the X-marked pin must align with the missing/keyed pin on the drive connector.
